Poster design has for a long time been a favourite advertising medium for designers around the world. It’s one of the simplest formats and provides designers a kind of creative freedom that they don’t experience elsewhere. For me, I love temporary posters. They are often for a particular time in a particular context, and can be used indoors or outdoors, but it is because of this temporary nature, that you can often have more fun with them.
GDUSA recently surveyed its members asking for their favourite poster designs of the last 50 years.
